The Children’s Information Service provides information and advice on early years education, childcare and a range of other services relating to children and their families. All information and advice is free and impartial.

Information is available on pre-school/playgroups, nurseries, childminders, out of school childcare, activity clubs and family support services.

Advice is offered on issues such as how to choose childcare, free nursery education places, tax credits and working in the childcare sector. Opening hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday
